The BOSCH ECU
The ECU is based on the CDP 1802 8-bit cpu, the very same that controlled one of the
APOLLO shuttles! All configurations of this box i know of use a AFM(Air Flow Meter,
old flap-style) and RPM as main inputs, other inputs are IAT(Inlet Air Temp), engine temp,
idle switch, WOT switch, O2 sensor, crank speed sensor, crank reference sensor and
A/C switch. It depends on application wich inputs are used. Both the maps and the control-
program can be found in a single 2732 EPROM (4kb).
The 012 box uses an integral ingition driver stage while the 022/026 uses an external driver
module mounted in the engine compartment
